The product is a generic or store-brand alternative to Listerine Antiseptic Cool Mint. The mouthwash contains active ingredients like Eucalyptol, Menthol, Methyl Salicylate, and Thymol, and is alcohol-based.
This product is fluoride-free and has been accepted by the American Dental Association (ADA) as effective in helping to prevent and reduce gingivitis and plaque above the gumline when used as directed. The product is also available in an alcohol-free formula that contains the active ingredient Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC).
